REMINISCENCE OF SAI MURUGAN

                                                  THE CASE OF MURDERED MINISTER
                                             SCENE 4
"I think all you need is nothing but a good night sleep my pal" uttered the inspector.
"Well, your wish is my command master" winked my companion.
He continued,"Mith,it would be appropriate for you to escort my old friend.I would join you both as soon as possible",saying so he distanced himself from the stage of crime & disappeared after crossing the bushes.
"Our fundamental object would be to catch Navin, the ex-cook.Lets get his hands tied at once" spieled Balaji.

"Leave me" bawled Navin,as his limbs were tied to the bar of the gaol in the police station.
"Why did you kill the minister?" roared the inspector as Navin was greeted with a blow after blow
"I never met him after I was given the pink slip".His voice echoed.
"Sir!" one of the constable's voice reached our ears."The son of the minister,Veera had been hammered. He is admitted to the Vikram hospital"
"He is on the murder spree"  shouted Navin.
           "He who" asked the inspector.
"He" howled Navin. The howl was accompanied by a laugh that was mad enough to irritate the inspector.

REMINISCENCE OF SAI MURUGAN

                                              THE CASE OF MURDERED MINISTER
                                                        SCENE 3
As we were lead to the brutal scene of crime by Balaji who was eagerly chatting with his earlier co-ordinate.
"Then, who was the murderer in Antony's case?" asked my boss
"It was Jagannathan.right?" he continued as the inspector lit up his cigarette.
"Yes Sai.his case was not much challenging.I found his finger-prints at the scene of annihilation.
"A labyrinthine path buddy. The scribbling on the wall had scratches from right to left suggesting that he must be left handed & Jagannathan was the only one who is left handed there"
I could not continue my walking."Man! he is awesome"
"how on earth could be a man like him" I muttered to myself.
"Please come this way" the inspector showed the way.
There we found an isolated van with its door opened.
We rushed fast only to see the minister back stabbed at the back of the van
The inspector along with us took the body out & kept it out.
I thrusted myself onto the ground."The Tracks" I shrieked.
"Holy Cow!they had come in a car"
"Look at the footprints...they must be from a large foot guy" I hollered
"They must be from the ex cook, the guy with the large foot" said the inspector
Sai bent down & appraised the footprints & gave a cluck.
"You missed him,Sai" bawled Balaji
I had to hang my head down.
For the first time in my life, i have seen this man making a mistake.

REMINISCENCE OF SAI MURUGAN

                                          THE CASE OF MURDERED MINISTER
                                           SCENE 2
"As you know sir" said the my nephew's friend. One could identify from his voice that he had shed a lot of tears before he came to meet us."I study in Easwari engineering college,Mechanical department. My name is Mani".He gave a pause.
    "Proceed" said my master.
"My lovable uncle is dead" sobbed Mani, superseded by a huge bawl.
He took his own time to get consoled.
"And may i know your uncle?"
    "He is Ra.Rajasamy,a minister Sir"
     "well" said I.
"You would have never known if any such things had happened" interrupted Mani.
"that's because they fear the aftermath given his powerful position in politics" said my master
"Also its because it was a brutal manslaughter Sir "
     "when actually did this happen?"
"today afternoon at ten past two Sir"
"ok! lets get this case cracked up Mith" said Sai,then turned towards Mani,
"Do you have doubts on any one?"
     Mani replied in affirmative.
"he is our old cook sir,for my uncle had fired him an year ago"
      "fine.lets visit him at once"
Sai&I took an auto that landed at Anna Nagar with driver charging us Rs.150.
The door that had a board read "Busy now:
"Sai', a very familiar voice greeted us

"its good that we meet here" said the man smoking with pride
"Well!" said Sai  "I never expected you to be alive.Good to see you back"
"Yep.Its true that the accident almost knocked me off.But you should have waited for me to recover.Instead you chose him" he said with his index finger pointing me
"It was your decision that we must split"
"That is why we both grew tremendously like Rajni&Kamal did"
"What worthy point you have got Inspector Balaji?"
"The cook is here for you to investigate my old friend"
saying so,he pointed a strong man in 40's with long legs with a wrestler like body.
"Nothing to investigate.leave him.He is not the culprit. He had gone to serve his ailing mother at nanganallur"
"how are you sure about that sir" said I
"Look at his foot.It is cornered by the mud that is very common in Nanganallur. Also you can see the Actonel drug prescription with him that is used for osteoporosis"
"Where is the scene of crime Balaji?" he asked
"Let us go there at once Sir" replied his good friend and we accompanied by Sai walked out of the house with his curious eyes that were set to crack up this case.

REMINISCENCE OF SAI MURUGAN

                           THE CASE OF MURDERED MINISTER
                                              SCENE 1
"Thud"...the sound that would accompany my nephew everytime he calls on me.A sturdy guy of age 20 wearing a spectacles contrary to his image was this time accompanied by a tall, lanky youngster probably of the same age if not  lesser. Both were panting, evident that they might have run before they came here.
" I welcome my dear mechanical engineers from Easwari, engineering college.pray you have some water before you express the reason of you being present here"- a voice very familiar to me told the above words. The boys were taken by surprise.
WELCOME TO MY WORLD!!!the place where the suspicion becomes corroboration...where even the hooligans under the disguise get caught..The reason behind all these things is a walking human just an inch short of calling himself a six feet person. An egghead for whom every case is a child's play..He is Sai Murugan, a man of positive attitude under whom i work as an associate."Sir do you know them beforehand?"
"No Mith"
"then.."
"its because" interrupted the voice
"I could see the grease in their shirt.I know that they would not be working as mechanic given the royal look on their faces.Their Bata shoes confirmed my hope that they would be from an engineering college"
"how did you know that they were from Easwari college sir?"
"Its simple. They had come in a cycle which is evident from a look at their palms, they would not have risked the idea of coming in a cycle had not it been too near for them to come"
"Indeed sir"
We live at No.5,gandhi street,Saidapet in a place which was just fit enough to be called a house.I & Sai have been living here for 5 years after he agreed to give a place for me to stay with him for the interest I had in his detection.A man who would have celebrated 25 years of marriage, had his wife been alive.Though it seems that he does not bother about her.I had the unfortunate flings of hearing those melancholic tones that he would mutter when he thinks about her.
"seems you are indulged in your thoughts,Mith" said he."Do you wish to accompany me?"
"Only a dumb-head would not Sir"
"fine"he winked at me
"lets get this case heard"
saying so, he moved his ears towards my nephew's friend who was sitting on the edge of the seat.
